Top 10 Former WWE Divas Who Should Appear on WWE Raw’s 1,000th Episode…
Word Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has done a tremendous job promoting WWE Raw’s 1,000th Episode. We have seen numerous former WWE Superstars appear in the past few weeks on WWE Programming, and many more are sure to appear on July 23, 2012. Wrestlers who have appeared in build-up to Raw’s 1,000th Episode included Diamond Dallas Page, Vader, Sycho Sid, Roddy Piper, former WWE Women’s Champion Wendi Richter, Manager Cyndi Lauper (June 18, 2012 Raw Results: Wendi Richter and Cyndi Lauper appear on Raw), and more.
So far, we are sure to have at least one memorable WWE Diva moment, as AJ is scheduled to “marry” Daniel Bryan on Raw’s 1,000th Episode. AJ has done a remarkable job with the material given to her, so she is sure to continue her great work on the episode. With WWE weddings in the past, numerous Divas have made cameo appearances. Eve Torres would make a perfect Wedding crasher, considering her recent history with AJ. Eve has already responded via Twitter on the wedding…
No hard feelings @WWEAJLee. I hope u have a happy life with your slimy, cheating fiancé. I have bigger things to worry about, like #Raw1000
Vikie Guerrero is sure to have some impact on the show, and Stephanie McMahon has already hinted to an appearance via Twitter. When asked “Will you be at #RAW10000?” she responded with “tune in at 8pm on USA and find out!.”
By far the most wanted Diva that fans want to see at Raw’s 1000th episode, is Kharma. With all the news and rumors circulating her current WWE status, Kharma’s appearance would be a much needed surprise.
But of the WWE Divas of the past, who should appear? Lethalwow.com has compiled a Top 10 list of who should appear…
1. Trish Stratus
—As the most celebrated woman in WWE history, Trish Stratus trumps all other former Divas, on who should appear on Raw’s 1,000th episode. Her accomplishments during her career has been much more widely recognized by the WWE than the likes of The Fabulous Moolah, Wendi Richter, Lita, and many others. While she has made numerous appearances since her 2006 retirement (Trish Stratus – Bio), an appearance on the milestone episode would be extremely significant. She is the WWE Diva equivalent of The Rock appearing on the show. If Trish Stratus does indeed get a call, she is sure to do something substantial on the show, as she has been given to do with all her post-retirement appearances.
2. Lita (Amy Dumas)
—Lita has not been as celebrated in WWE history after her retirement—as Trish Stratus has; however, among fans, her name is engraved of history as one of the most popular female wrestlers of all time. Some would argue that her popularity was greater than that of Trish Stratus. Lita is an extremely influential woman in WWE History–inspiring many female wrestlers, and still adored by fans worldwide. She should by all means be called up for the show… Lita’s last major WWE appearance was at the 2011 Slammy Awards. She was also in attendance at the 2012 WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony, and WWE Wrestlemania Axxess. Give us more Lita!… Seeing her at Raw’s 1,000 episode would please slews of WWE fans.
3. Sable (Rena Lesnar)
—Sable‘s husband Brock Lesnar is scheduled to appear on the show, and she will likely accompany him to the event. This would be a great opportunity for Sable to at least make a cameo appearance. Unlike with Trish and Lita, Sable has not appeared on WWE programming in many years. Her last run was from 2003 to 2004. Many consider Sable the first “WWE Diva,” a title that has often been associated with Sunny (Tammy Lynn Sytch). Sable is amoung the Divas that are considered the most popular of all time. Her charisma is unmatched, and undoubtedly the woman who represents the tone of the WWE Attitude era.
—This will not happen. If Chyna was to appear on the 1,000th episode of Raw, it would be the biggest shocker of any other former Diva appearing. But should she be there?… Without–a–doubt. She broke records that no other woman has in the WWE. She was the only woman to actively compete against male wrestlers, which led to her holding the WWE Intercontinental Championship on 3 occasions. This woman has had countless memorable WWE Raw moments, and it would be great to see her get recognized for her historic run in the form of an appearance.
5. Alundra Blayze (Madusa Miceli)
—Madusa has made it know, that she is open to a return to World Wrestling Entertainment. She even re-tweeted a comment from a fan writing that she should face WWE Divas Champion Layla on Raw’s 1000 episode. Madusa is among one of the most controversial figures in the Divas Division’s history… After leaving the WWE in 1995, she was signed to rival company WCW, and seen throwing the WWE Women’s Title belt into a trash can on live television. Since then, she has rarely been acknowledged on WWE programming. Despite this, we have seen a few women who left the company on bad terms return, including Sable and Wendi Richter. It would be great to Madusa back on WWE television for the historic episode.
6. Stacy Keibler
—Of all the former WWE Divas of this list, Stacy Keibler’s stock is currently the biggest, rivaled by Torrie Wilson’s. An appearance would bring major publicity to the episode. She does not match the historic accomplishments in the wrestling business of the likes of Trish Stratus, Chyna etc. However, her A-list status as girlfriend of George Clooney would bring tons of of Mainstream coverage for the show.
7. Torrie Wilson
—Like with Stacy Keibler, Torrie Wilson appearing would be great for mainstream publicity. We saw Torrie Wilson and her boyfriend A-Rod (Alex Rodriguez) in the audience at WrestleMania XXVIII, and even such a small recognition on camera, could generate buzz, especially with the WWE focusing on social media. While she was never given the ball to run as a Champion, Torrie Wilson has had her share of memorable Raw moments, and her place as one of the top WWE Divas of all time.
8. Michelle McCool
—Michelle McCool got alot of heat during her career by the online wrestling community, mostly due to her relationship with the Undertaker. There is a saying, you don’t know how much someone is worth until they are gone. Hopefully the majority of McCool’s naysayers now recognize how valuable she was to the WWE Divas Division. She undoubtedly was the woman the Division was built around for many years, and was half of one of the most memorable female Tag-Teams of all time; LayCool. It would be more than great to see her back on WWE programming for the 1000 episode of Raw.
9. Tori (Terri Poch)
—One of the most underrated WWE Divas of all time is Tori, former LPWA Champion. On July 23, 2012, D-Generation X is scheduled to reunite—assuming this will just be Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Now if the WWE decided to pull out all the stops, and have Road Dogg, Billy Gunn and X-Pac appear… also assuming that Chyna will not be part of this, a Tori appearance would be welcomed.
10. Ivory (Lisa Moretti)
—Right to Censor anyone? Another underrated WWE Diva, who can make an impact at Raw’s 1,000th episode. Talk about blast from the past… get Steven Richards, The Goodfather and Val Venis and get some censoring done. This angle could certainly get tons of heat, even after all these years.
While the WWE Divas are often put on the back burner on WWE programming, fans can only hope that the WWE Divas are well represented on the 1,000 episode of Raw. What former WWE Divas do appear should be interesting. And no, Mae Young does not cut it.

—The reason for the absence of Eve Torres (PROFILE) on WWE programming in the past few weeks has been revealed. Eve Torres has been casted as part of NBC’s “Stars Earn Stripes” Reality Show. This is a military-themed competition series, where the competitors will compete in military training exercises. The show will also star the likes of Laila Ali, Dean Cain, Terry Crews, Nick Lachey and more. The show will have a two-hour premiere on Monday, August 13, at 8 p.m.
